Bike workshop and other community projects

We use a converted minibus as a workshop where our veterans repair, service and sell cycles.

This gives them meaningful work, generates income for the charity and can lead to qualified bike mechanic qualifications. A number of our service users have also gone on to set up their own businesses in the cycle industry which is clearly a really positive outcome from the project.

The drop-in cycle service is normally available on Mondays at the Veterans Support Centre in Orford Park, Warrington.

We also make custom commemorative items to order to commemorate your service or the service of a loved one - get in touch to find out what we offer! (online ordering soon)

This all supports the work of the charity while providing skills and         experience for our veterans.

How it all Began !!

2018

The project was originally created to integrate veterans back into the community by helping the general public with minor repairs.

It all began with a donation of £500 and slowly grew into the £1000s

2019

OUR FIRST QUALIFIED VETERAN ATTENDED THE MIAS COURSE…..

2021 AND 2022…

We have managed to service over 1200 since 2018 and continue to do so, to this very day!

We currently have two minibuses converted into bike workshops fully equipped to repair even the most difficult problems across Cheshire

DURING COVID WE CONTINUED TO DELIVER THE SERVICE AND ADAPTED OUR SERVICE TO COMPLY WITH GOVERNMENT REGUALTIONS

We have been lucky to be funded by Sport England in 2022

And by the Freemasons charitable sector for 2023
